God, the RV & me

  Last Sunday Jim, Fonda, hubby and I had a chill day. We hung out at Sam's Town, losing money (at least I did), then had dinner at Aces and Ales. It has great food not so much in looks. We had a nice time. We picked them up Monday and went to lunch and then the airport. I felt so bad as their plane was delayed a couple of times. They finally got home around 2:00 AM. Yuck! Just so excited them came out to Vegas and was able to get home safely.  Monday night we had dinner with Robert, that was also a good time. It has been nice seeing him throughout our time here. We also went out to dinner on Friday, guess where, you guessed it, Aces and Ales.  Hubby, Robert and I Last night in Vegas and the moon was looking marvelous.  Tuesday, we went back to Fremont Street and had some fun walking around the Mob Museum. This week was a busy one with fun and activities, Vegas style. Monday, we went to a hockey game. They sure know how to put on a good show. On and off the ice. "Keeping it real", it would have been so much better if we didn't have loud talkers behind us. They weren't even talking about the hockey game for the most part, and I really didn't need to know if the son had finished his homework. Other than that, it was a nice evening.  Golden Knights vs LA Kings They know how to put on a show before the game for sure. Since we are in Pacific Time Zone, hubby wakes up and starts work at 4:00am. He also needed to rest up because Wednesday was date night.  Week two in Vegas. It was full of family and fun. Last Sunday night, we went out to dinner with Robert. It was a good Mexican Restaurant and we decided to walk a bit because we ate so much. We were in Henderson, Nevada in the Water District area. Cute little downtown area with restaurants, shops, and micro-breweries. Also, a lady who was lying on a bench and talking to herself. Robert and hubby both thought she had a phone, nope. All I can do is pray for her, mental health issues are so hard on family and friends. Hubby, myself and Robert. Monday, we ate at home. Had to go to the grocery store so we could eat at home. Tuesday, my sister, Stefanie, flew in from Houston. She was able to stay until Thursday. It was fun having her here. My dad and his wife, Connie (Robert's mom), also came to town. We had dinner with them Tuesday night and gambled a little bit. Connie has very good luck on the slots.
