Corpus Christi KOA

It is just before 7:00 am and I woke up to see if they sun was trying to wake up as well.  The sun was.  A beautiful morning, not as windy as yesterday.  Hubby and I are here for a week, but the reason we are here is not as beautiful as this morning.  It is for a sad reason.  Hubby’s sister passed away on November 3, 2020.  Tonight, is visitation and then tomorrow is the service.  Margie was an amazing woman.  Unfortunately for the pass 13 or so years, she has been suffering from some sort of dementia.  We have seen her go from a vibrant, engaging women to one who only remembers a couple of people.  It has been a long and sad journey for the family.  Margie loved well, thought highly of others (just like my mother-in-law) never have a cross thing to say about others, she was also a person who lit up the room when she entered.  Her children did rise up and bless her.

As hard as today and tomorrow will be, it will be good to be around family to love and support one another.  The Lord knows how to comfort us in times like these.  Thank You, Lord, for going before us and for giving us family and friends to love.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, placing His hands upon you and yours.

God, the RV & me...
