Palm Springs Area part 2

"Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine." It wasn't hard to have sunshine in the desert. We didn’t have bad weather either. Well, we did get a few drops of rain this past week and basically it just got the truck dirty.  It wasn't hard to be sunshine hanging out with Lynn. "From the rising of the sun to its setting the name of the Lord is to be praised." Psalms 113:3 (NASB)

Love the clouds with the mountains.

Lynn and I also watched both seasons of The Chosen. Man was it amazing! God's Word which is alive, was displayed on the TV with a truly wonderful cast of people playing Jesus, Mary, Mary Magdalene, the disciples, truly a blessing to watch. Let's just say, sometimes there wasn't a dry eye and Jesus hasn't even spoken on the Mount. We heard there would be a total of 7 season, can't wait!

Lynn and I went to the grocery store to get a few things and I had to take a picture of this sign. It was the first time I had seen a sign like this at a grocery store parking lot.

Saw quite a few golf carts parked there. Too funny!!

Last Wednesday, hubby, Lynn and I went to Morongo Casino, Resort and Spa. There was a beautiful sunset and we had to take pictures. We ate at Wahlburgers and then played a little bit at the slot machines. Let's just say, they weren't very good to me.

The Morongo Band of Mission Indians is a federally recognized tribe in California. The main tribal groups are Cahuill and Serrano. Fun fact: The Morongo Reservation is in Riverside County and established by executive order in 1876 by President Ulysses S Grant. We had a very nice time at the casino, and I hope to be able to go back next year.

Yesterday, we arrived in Phoenix, Arizona. We spent 12 weeks in California. Thinking about that makes my head hurt. We had fun and saw so many people, really enjoyed our time. Today, I will see another college friend, I can't remember the last time we saw each other. One week in Arizona and then on to New Mexico.

If there is something special you would like me to take a picture of, please let me know!
