Sugar Hill RV Resort

Welcome to winter! It has been a little chilly in Anna, Texas. Last Friday the low was 14 degrees, brrrrr! The RV is doing a great job with keeping us and the pipes warm. Praise God for that!

We only receive mail once a month, it was so nice to be able to open Christmas cards last Thursday. Thank you all so much for your love and support. Hubby asked me if it was sad to open them after Christmas, but really it brought joy to my heart to hear how you and your loved ones are doing. May 2022 bring us love, peace, patience and joy.

We have enjoyed being with friends. Hubby went to Bud's and stayed for a long weekend. Thor came out to visit as well. I truly enjoyed being with Bud's wife, Ellen. It is fun to catch up and it is nice to be with others and not feel uncomfortable, all of us talking and laughing. I couldn’t stay overnight because of my fur baby, but still had a truly amazing time.
A walk around the lake with Hubby, me, Ellen, Bud and Thor.

I was able to take a few photos of where we are staying. It is a nice place and we are enjoying staying here, which is good since we will be here until February 5th. As you well know, I enjoy clouds and I really thought this was a pretty picture the Lord painted so I am sharing it with you.

Sunset while walking Gus.

It is also nice to see horses on a neighbor’s property. I am enjoying the openness of this RV Resort and would really like to come back. The horses are pretty to look at, but I am content that part of my life has closed. God is opening a new chapter as we travel around His amazing creation.

Two beautiful horses.

Fun fact: The horse is a domesticated one-toe hoofed mammal. It belongs to the taxonomic family Equidae (horse family) and is one of two extant subspecies of Equus fetus (Wild horses). Humans began domesticating horses around 4000 BC, and their domestication is believed to have been widespread by 3000 BC. Horses can sleep both standing up and laying down, which enables them to have a quick fight-or-flight ability. Mares (female horses) carry their foals for 11 months and when they are born, they can stand and run shortly after birth. They reach their full adult development by age five and have an average lifespan of between 25 and 30 years old. My horse, Princess, lived to be 28 years old.

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war." Revelation 19:11 (NASB).

If there is something special you would like me to take a picture of, please let me know!
