Imagination...

Image
The world was once formless and void.  How impossible to imagine.  The Creator took nothing and created form, boundaries, beauty and it was good.  I am in awe of Him, our Creator.  How much imagination His has.  Even when I look at the sky, I see different colors of blue in it - wild!  Creating the world was just a start for God, He didn’t stop there.  He created us and He gave us a body, a heart, a brain, skin, for me, interesting feet and also so so much more.  He created us male and female, in His image.  What is even more imaginative is that He created us in all different colors, shapes and sizes.      So, we have a beautiful world to live in.  Amazing places to see, explore and visit.  Extraordinary people to meet and form relationships.  All of this is through the imagination of God.  What can your imagination come up with today?  Create something beautiful - a painting, a poem, a friendship, a legacy - just create and use your imagination!  God has given us one to use. God, the

Meaning...

Have you had those questions?  Why am I here?  What is my purpose?  How did I get here?  I have had times in my life where I have asked those questions.  What has God called me to and how do I know I am following His will.  Some questions in life are hard, some are not.  So here are some questions I have for you! Why is he here?  What is his purpose?  How did he get on the bumper of my RV?  A SNAKE - really?????  Not my favorite at all!  Since the beginning of time, actually chapter 3 of Genesis, I have not been a fan of snakes.  When I look at them, they seem slimy (I know they aren’t), but still, to me, gross!   Hubby posted this picture and so many people said, “oh, it’s a good snake”, really??  Still not a fan!  Just really curious to what he was after and why he felt being on the bumper of the RV was the best place for him.  Guess it was way better than seeing him inside the RV or my house! So, back to the beginning of my questions, they are important to questions to ask, but what

Mornings...

If mercies are new every morning, joy comes in the morning, and each day is a fresh start, then why is it so hard to get out of bed?  Mornings are full of surprises and camping can bring some.  Bacon smoke filling the RV, loud machines making smoothies, forgetting to turn off the oven, and taking turns using the bathroom, just a few of the exciting times living life while on the road.  Hmmmmm and I am not even on the road full time as of yet - wonder what other fun morning times hubby and I will encounter?  Strange, as I write these thoughts, my heart is looking forward to the time when we are full timers.  Working out bathroom schedules, learning to cook on a lower heat so smoke doesn’t fill the RV, living life exploring new places that God has created.  Just feels right.   As I mentioned above, mornings can be rough for me.  I don’t always want to get out of bed, but something strange happens to me while RVing - I look forward to watching the sunrise, I enjoy sitting outside with my

Just wanted to share with you our first travel trailer.  A Mesa Ridge 2804 RK (pictured above).  Very cute inside and eased into spaces when backing up.  We bought this because we (I) needed to make sure we would like the RV life.  Below is a picture of the inside living area.  So loved the back kitchen, it was the best!   Here we are (below) getting ready to go on our first trip!  On our way to Cedar Hill. We had a great time and I so enjoyed our trip - chigger warnings and all.  So amazing to be able to see God’s beautiful creation!  He amazes me every time. May God place His peace that passes all understanding upon you and yours!   God, the RV & me...

A little slice of heaven!

Oh, what a beautiful place the Lord has created!  Hubby and I have been watching the waves roll in for the past 4 days and I am still enjoying them.  It has been very calming to be at the beach, talk with great friends and enjoy the beauty God has created.  I am very blessed to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave!!  Here has been my view lately!! Friday, hubby and I took the dog, Gus, on the beach.  Wow did he surprise me!  He actually went into the waves and sort of played in the water - not really Gus’ M.O. but I will take it.  We are staying at a small RV park (only 7 spots) and enjoying it.  Thinking about the next time we will be able to be here.  Oh, and one of the best parts, nobody else has a dog (at this time) at the RV park.  Man, Gus is really enjoying that - he was attacked a few years back and is still dealing with that trauma.  So he is one happy camper this trip - LOL. Tomorrow we pack up to go home, I always feel a little sad when it is time to do tha
